Regain used disk space by streaming or removing apps and files

One easy way to temporarily add storage to your Galaxy S6: a USB OTG drive.

If you have already bought your Galaxy S6, then you can use cloud storage apps like Dropbox and Google Drive to store most media files, or rely on streaming music and video services like Spotify and YouTube. You can minimise the amount of space you’re using by deleting photos and videos after they’ve been copied to your PC or cloud storage like Dropbox. You can also see which apps are using the most space in the Settings menu (Settings > Storage). Special apps like DiskUsage are also great to see where your storage is being used. Temporarily access additional storage space

You can also add storage space temporarily by connecting USB drives and SD cards using a USB OTG adapter or getting special USB OTG drives. This allows you to easily access additional files, but isn’t suitable for use on the go due to the added bulk. In the future, it may be possible to get cases with built-in flash storage, which would be able to (mostly) alleviate this issue.

You can also buy memory card readers that slot into your phone’s micro USB slot, adapting them into a microSD card slot. It’s a bit bulkier and more cumbersome than the Incipio case, but it does the job.
