A spokesperson for the Brooklyn Heights Casino said, “All allegations of misconduct were thoroughly investigated by an independent third party and dealt with accordingly. We view this lawsuit as a baseless attempt to slander the Heights Casino and plan to defend our club vigorously.” The Elriani’s deny the allegations as false and are planning to “clear their good names” with a counter-suit.

David has been engaged in NYC real estate since 1962, when he purchased and renovated an 18’ brownstone on W. 95th off CPW. From 1967 to 1973 he owned and operated The Paradox, NY’s first Macrobotic natural foods restaurant. Beginning in 1974 through 2004, he has purchased, renovated, and sponsored, as the Managing Partner, seven Manhattan real estate developments, totaling over 560,000 sq. ft., converting lofts and warehouses into coops and condominiums. In 2004 he created one of NYC first “Green Roofs”, which was then published as a National Geographic centerfold. David is a member of the NY Yacht Club, and has been actively sailing, racing and cruising since 1977, both locally and offshore, winning the Marion-Bermuda Race in 1989 in his class. He holds a patent for a device and method enabling a marine to select Storm Havens & Hurricane Holes, and in 2008 he developed an App, You-Tack, as a Guide to the Racing Rules. David lives in the loft he built in 1975 with his wife, has three grown daughters, and plays doubles squash, but not as much as he’d like.

Before that he was CEO of four other VC-funded businesses all of which had successful exits. He currently sits on the board of Pixability, works as a consultant for Bridge 22, and is an EIR at Progress Partners. James is happily married with two children despite having made his family live on a boat with him for a year while they sailed around the world (2010-11). David started his career as a law clerk to Judges Breyer and Ginsberg when they were Court of Appeals judges and for Justice Sandra Day O’Connor. He holds a B.A. and J.D. from Harvard as well as a master’s degree from Cambridge University. David is an avid recreational squash player along with his wife Ingrid and two children Audrey and Jacob.
Peter is a former professional squash player. During his career, he won one World Open title, two British Open titles, and four Commonwealth Games Gold Medals. He is widely considered to be one of the most outstanding international squash players of his time. Nicol was ranked World No. 1 for a total of 60 months during his career, including a continuous 24-month stint in 2002–2003. Nicol retired in 2006 and turned his focus to promoting the game, both through the Nicol Champions Academy (NCA) in New York and SquashSkills, an online coaching resource.
Terry has over 15 years of international accounting and financial leadership experience and a strong record of success driving profitability and growth for emerging startups and leading global organizations. Terry’s expertise has helped transform under-performing organizations into profitable entities, requiring expert leadership of global accounting teams and multinational locations. Terry currently runs the financial operations at CompStak and has prior experience at Via and Toshiba. Terry is a qualified chartered accountant and is a graduate of Leeds University in the UK. He lives in Brooklyn with his wife and son.
